If you purchase a 3 Peak Pass during our SuperEarlybird or Earlybird sales then our new no questions asked refund policy will cover you. This means you will have up until midnight 1 June 2021 to decide if you would like to use your 3 Peak Pass for the 2021 ski season or get a no questions asked refund.

If you don’t want to use your 3 Peak Pass you can request a refund by emailing info@nzski.com before 12 am (midnight) on 1 June 2021.

Each customer that requests a refund and purchased their 3 Peak Season Pass in full at time of purchase will be refunded the full amount of the 3 Peak Season Pass purchase price and any add on products purchased (including First Tracks, Full Season Pass Rental, and/or Pass Protection). Customers who purchased their 3 Peak Season Pass on instalments will be refunded the full amount of the 3 Peak Season Pass purchase price and any add on products purchased minus the $50 non-refundable initial payment.

Full Season Rentals

If you need ski or snowboard equipment for the season, you can now hire gear with us all winter long. This includes recreational boots, skis or snowboard and poles.When you arrive on the mountain, head to our rentals department to fit and collect your gear. Age Definition

Age is as of 1st June 2021. All lift users require a MyPass card. Photographic ID will be required.

  • Youth is 8 – 17yrs inclusive. If currently attending high-school and 18 years, a Student Pass applies.
  • 7yrs and under ski or ride for free at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt
  • Student is 18+yrs enrolled full time (minimum 32 weeks in a calendar year) with a New Zealand or Australian tertiary institution. Student ID & proof of full time status (letter from institution) is required. ID card must be in English & include a valid expiry date. ISIC cards are not accepted.
  • Senior is 65–74yrs of age. Photo ID will be required.
  • Guests 75yrs of age or older, on day of purchase, ski for free. Please collect a complimentary lift pass from the ticket office. Photo ID will be required.
Pass Protection

Pass protection is your injury/medical cover and provides for full or partial refund of the season pass where an injury, medical condition, or travel ban imposed by regulatory bodies, precludes or significantly limits ability to use the pass throughout the entire season.

Refund applications must be made in writing by completing the NZSki refund form, available from any of our guest services team. Claims will need to be supported with evidence including but not limited to a doctor's certificate or evidence of travel restrictions. NZSki reserves the right to obtain independent advice to validate any claim. . The value of refunds will be calculated based on the use of the pass and in conjunction with the expiry dates or validity period for that product.

There will be no refunds after six weeks from the pass holder's first day of pass use.

There will be no refunds after 31st August for the winter season for which that pass was purchased for, irrespective of pass use. Refunds extend to the value of the pass type purchased only and do not cover any ancillary or other associated costs. The Pass Protection add-on is regarded as an ancillary cost. Refunds will be made to the credit card used to purchase the pass and the pass will be cancelled.

The value of refunds will be calculated based on the use of the pass according to the table below.

First Tracks Add-On

The corduroy is calling!

A Coronet Peak and Mt Hutt First Tracks season pass can be added on to your 3 Peak Season pass for access to the Coronet Express from 8am - 9am daily from late June / early July through late in the season. Mt Hutt operates First Tracks from 8-9am on weekends from late June to late in the season subject to conditions.

The operation of First Tracks is subject to the availability and operation of the lifts and to snow and weather conditions. Access to trails will be subject to operational requirements, weather and snow conditions, and any scheduled race/events.

Coronet Peak and Mt Hutt do not guarantee the operation of First Tracks on any particular day.

If you have already purchased your season pass, please contact our guest services team to add a First Tracks Season Pass to your MyPass Account.

Cancellations & Refunds

3 Peak Season Pass Customer Guarantee

Only 3 Peak Season Pass products purchased during the Super Earlybird or Earlybird campaign periods of 25 September 2020 to 30 April 2021 come with a Customer Guarantee.

The Customer Guarantee means you have until 12 am(midnight) on 1 June 2021 to decide if you would like to use your 3 Peak Season Pass for the 2021 ski season.  If you do not wish to use your 3 Peak Season Pass you must request a refund by emailing your request to info@nzski.com before 12 am (midnight) on 1 June 2021.

Customers who request a refund and paid in full for their 3 Peak Season Pass at the time of purchase will be refunded the full 3 Peak Season Pass purchase price and any add on products purchased (including First Tracks, Season Pass Rental, and/or Pass Protection).

Customers who request a refund and purchased their 3 Peak Season Pass by instalment will be refunded the amount of the 3 Peak Season Pass purchase price and any add on products purchased (including First Tracks,Season Pass Rental, and/or Pass Protection) minus a $50 non-refundable initial payment. 

From 2 June 2021 3 Peak Season Passes are non-refundable under any circumstances unless the Injury/Medical cover option (Pass Protection) has been purchased. The circumstances in which Pass Protection applies, and the amounts refundable, are set out elsewhere in NZSki’s Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you have read the Terms and Conditions in full.

Any season pass purchased without Pass Protection and outside of the Customer Guarantee is not eligible for a refund.

Season Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, from the date of purchase, under any circumstances unless the Injury/Medical cover (Pass Protection) option has been purchased. This Injury/Medical/Financial Hardship cover option is an additional cost of $40, which is made available to you at the time of purchase.

Season Passes are non-refundable, and downgrades will not be offered for a pass of lesser value once the season pass has been purchased.This applies to all pass types and permutations.

How do the Instalment Payments Work?

Instalments are only available on the 3 Peak Season Pass, Mt Hutt Season Pass, Intro to Snow package and RSSA packages prior to the start of the season.

By selecting to make payment by the instalment option, the customer hereby agrees to: NZSki Limited (NZSki) retaining the customer's credit card details and automatically charging the customer's credit card at each set instalment payment date.

What if I default or miss a payment?

If any instalment payment is not made e.g. due to the credit card payment being declined or reversed or missed, NZSki reserves the right to charge a default administration fee of $35 per card transaction.

How do I update my Credit Card/Payment details?

To update your credit card details, you will need to login to your account and update your information, including card expiry dates. You many also call us on 0800 697 547 NZ to provide new details. Please allow 5 working days for these changes to take effect. NZSki will not be responsible for failure by the customer to make payment on the due date for any reason. If any instalment payment is not made e.g. due to the credit card payment being declined or reversed, NZSki reserves the right to charge a default administration fee of $35 per card transaction.

Issue and Collection

Season Passes will not be issued or available for use or collection until full payment of all instalments has been received.

Student Pass

Evidence of full-time enrolment at a New Zealand or Australian learning institution is required at the time of pass collection by presenting your student ID card and proof of full-time status.

Where do I collect my pass?

To collect your pass you can visit any of our Guest Services locations. Please bring along your confirmation email and a form of photographic ID, such as a Driver’s licence, for verification. Your profile picture will be taken upon collection of your pass and your pass issued. If you have purchased for multiple people, please bring them along with you so they can all get their photograph taken.

If you have previously had a day pass or season pass with us and still have your card from previous years, you do not need to visit Guest Services to collect your pass. This will be loaded to your current mypass card and will give you access to the lifts on your first day skiing.

Season Passes will not be issued or available for use or collection until full payment of all instalments has been received.
